Contact your State Senators and Assembly members. Do it just once and you’ll see it’s a breeze!
- Tell them that there are over 116,000 people in Wisconsin alone diagnosed with
Alzheimer’s Disease or another dementia and over 5.1 million nationwide. - Tell them the amount of money spent for research on AD has not increased (not even kept up with inflation) in recent years and it MUST if a cure is to be found.
- Tell them that without a cure or at least medications that stop the progression of the disease, the number of persons affected could easily bankrupt the Medicare system! (Not only those affected, but their caregivers too.)
- Tell them researchers are getting close to finding the cure, many medications are in trials, but the funding has to continue to make a difference!
Contact your US Senators and US Representatives to educate them.
